Directly across from the stadium is the Columbian Park Zoo. The zoo is free to the public, but they encourage donations. There are various exhibits from around the world, and it is open from mid-April to mid-October each year.

Rush Pavilion is nestled within the heart of Columbian park. It is a large white building with several wrap-around porches overlooking the water. It’s available for rent and makes a great location for parties and family events. Check out the website for more information.
Take a Stroll Around the Park with a Homemade Frozen Custard
Columbian Park is the all-encompassing feature of the area. There are plenty of gazebos with picnic tables for family gatherings. There’s a large playground area for the kids and a vast network of footpaths. Also, there’s a miniature passenger train that carries passengers around a pond that many use for casual fishing.
